When you’ll need this
- A menu entry you used often is missing after an upgrade.
- You are following an old tutorial or screenshot and need to confirm the current name of an entry.
- You want to confirm which release a feature shipped in and whether your environment has it.
- You are handing over an account or training a new colleague and need a reference for old and new names.
How to get there
This page is on the documentation site: left navigation → Developer Documentation → Version Updates. There is no matching menu page in the admin console; to operate a feature, open its page from the links in this article or from the User Guide. The 2026-09 to 2026-10 major update
This round changed the console structure: consolidated menus, renamed entries, and a split page, plus two new interface languages. The details are broken down by module below.Navigation consolidated into five modules
The left menu now has only five groups, and every feature page belongs to one of them:
The Account settings menu at the bottom left now has three items: Profile, Login security, and AI identity access; the same menu also holds Language and Logout. The former “Web Chat” page is no longer available.
Data Dashboard
- “AI Usage”: see your remaining credits and monthly usage; visible to department admins only. See AI Usage.
- New “Conversation Review”: the conversation review page for the Mercado business; it opens an embedded review app, with filtering and lists handled inside the app; visible only to the Mercado business department or platform admins. See Conversation Review.
- “Detail Review”: filter, review, and export communication records. See Detail Review.
Knowledge Base
- Three entries were renamed: “Knowledge Creation” → “Knowledge Generation”, “Knowledge Management” → “Knowledge Optimization”, and “Knowledge Groups” → “Knowledge Management”.
- After the rename, the division of work is: Knowledge Generation turns documents, webpages, or ready-made Q&A into knowledge; Knowledge Optimization reviews knowledge awaiting entry and handles questions the AI could not answer; Knowledge Management maintains the group structure and searches or edits stored knowledge.
Response Settings
- Settings that were grouped on the single “Response Settings” page are now managed separately: the AI persona and main prompt are under “My Assistant → Base Persona”; fallback replies, group chat responses, and proactive reports are under “Response Settings → Reply Rules”.
- “Keyword Direct Reply” moved from “New Contact Setup” to “Reply Rules”.
- “Safety Guardrails”, “New Contact Setup”, and “Service Time” now belong to the Response Settings module, together with “Reply Rules”.
Interface languages
- French (Français) and Spanish (Español) interfaces were added; the console now supports five interface languages: 中文, English, 日本語, Français, and Español.
- To switch: Account settings at the bottom left → Language.
- “Conversation Review” embeds an external app that recognizes only some interface languages; under French or Spanish it displays English.
Name mapping
Check this table first when you are looking for an old entry:
Note: “Knowledge Management” is not the same page in the old and new versions — the old “Knowledge Management” is today’s “Knowledge Optimization”, and today’s “Knowledge Management” was formerly “Knowledge Groups”. When a colleague uses an old name, confirm which page they mean first.
Earlier updates (still valid)
- 2026-08-25 · “Safety Guardrails” added: risk is assessed before an AI reply is sent, and rules block the reply, let it through, or notify a supervisor. Location: “Response Settings → Safety Guardrails”. See Safety Guardrails.
- 2025-09-05 · “Relationships” added (then called “Relationship Management”): set how contacts and groups relate to the AI (Customer, Colleague, Muted, Supervisor) in one place; “Muted” keeps the selected people or groups from triggering AI responses. See Relationships.
- 2025-08-15 · Admin console v0.1.0 launched: admin login and knowledge base management became available.
- 2025-06-10 · Daily and weekly reports launched: the assistant can summarize business progress; in a conversation, ask it to “Enable daily report”, “Disable daily report”, “Enable weekly report”, or “Disable weekly report”.
Steps
Follow these three steps after upgrading to match up the entries:1
Confirm you are on the new admin console
Check that the left menu shows five modules: Data Dashboard, My Assistant, Response Settings, Knowledge Base, and Skills Library. Also check that the Account settings menu at the bottom left contains Profile, Login security, and AI identity access. How to check: all five modules are present, and Account settings shows these three items. If the structure does not match, first check whether your environment has been updated to this version, then follow the records on this page.
2
Use the Name mapping table to translate old names
Look up the old entry you need in the “Name mapping” table. For example, if you remember “Order Usage”, check “AI Usage”; if you remember “Lead Cleaning”, check “New Contact Setup”.How to check: every old name you need maps to a single current name; open it through “left menu → module → page”, for example “left menu → Knowledge Base → Knowledge Generation”.Note: “Knowledge Management” means different things before and after the update. Do not navigate by old memory alone — read the note under the table first.
3
Open the page, confirm it, then make changes
Open the matching page and check whether its title and description match the feature you are looking for, then change settings following the steps for that page in the User Guide. How to check: the page title matches the new name and the content loads normally. If you cannot see “AI Usage” or “Conversation Review”, check permissions using the FAQ first instead of going back through the menu again and again.
Checkpoints
- The left menu shows five modules: Data Dashboard / My Assistant / Response Settings / Knowledge Base / Skills Library.
- Account settings at the bottom left contains Profile, Login security, and AI identity access, as well as Language and Logout.
- Every old entry you need has a current name in the “Name mapping” table.
- When you need to switch the language, Account settings → Language lists five options.
Important notes
After this update, “Response Settings” is a module name covering four pages: Reply Rules, Safety Guardrails, New Contact Setup, and Service Time. In older tutorials, “Response Settings” referred to a single configuration page from before the update — the two are not the same thing.
